In Upper Chichester Township roughly 9.4% of what you pay annually in Real Estate Taxes goes to the Township. These tax dollars along with the other taxes listed below and various other sources of Revenue are used to fund the Townships annual budget. Upper Chichester Township has not increased Property Tax in quite some time. In fact the Board has twice in recent years voted to lower the Real Estate Tax.

Upper Chichester Township is part of the Chichester School District. Roughly 81.3% of the Real Estate Tax Upper Chichester residents pay go to the School District. Chichester School District is made up of 4 elementary schools, 1 middle school, and 1 high school. The school district is know for exhibiting it’s “Chi Pride” and has regularly sent graduating seniors to top tier local and national universities. Various Chichester Alumni hold important positions throughout the local geographical area and the world.

Residents who have trash collected curbside by the township pay an annual fee for that service. The fee is currently set at $220.00 and is included on your Real Estate bill.
