To solicit door to door in Upper Chichester it requires a permit from the Township. Any person soliciting door to door in the Township is required to have visible at all times:

• Proper Identification- ID showing who they are and who they are working with
• Solicitors Permit- Approved from the Township with the solicitors Name, Company and date of permit expiration

Note - Red Cross, Public Health Officials, Medical Equipment Personnel, and other Government agencies have not announced any departments who are going door to door visiting residents. This means anyone selling medical equipment, COVID 19 testing kits and other supplies are not permitted in Upper Chichester Township. If anyone visits your home do not open the door and report them to the Police Department by calling 911

2020 Census Takers

The United States Census is scheduled to begin in-person household surveys in early May of 2020.  A census taker is only required to come to your home if you have not taken the census through its indirect methods; so it is encouraged to complete the 2020 Census by phone, online or through the mail to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
