The Delaware County Health Department is working to decrease breast cancer deaths in Delaware County by targeted education and increased access to mammogram screening opportunities for early detection of breast cancer, especially among Black, Asian, and Hispanic females. We are need your help to achieve this goal by sharing our health initiatives with the residents of your municipality .

DCHD and Jefferson Health System are once again partnering to host a free mammogram screening vent at our Wellness Center in Chester on Thursday, October 18, 2024,  from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

We need your help in reaching out to those women who are age 40 and over, and due for this life saving screening.

Uninsured women,  along with those have health insurance,  are eligible for this mammogram screening event.

Appointments are available on a first come first serve basis.

Interested residents should call the DCHD Wellness Line at (484)276-2100 or email DelcoWellness@co.delaware.pa.us to leave their contact information, and a representative will call back to complete the registration process and schedule a time slot for the screening.
