Chester Water Authority (CWA) is planning to flush all public fire hydrants in the CWA distribution system in Upper Chichester Township beginning the week of September 8, 2024. We are planning to conduct this work between the hours of 9:00 pm and 5:00 am Sunday night through Friday morning to minimize inconvenience to CWA customers. During this work, there could be brief periods when the water in the distribution system may become discolored. Distribution system water pressure mat be depressed during the hydrant flushing activity.

Please let us know if you are aware of any businesses that have pressure sensitive fire alarm systems that may be affected by this work so that we can notify the businesses of our scheduled work.
